Enid Marriage License Requirements

Oklahoma Statutes Title 43 sets the rules. Both applicants must be at least 18 with valid photo ID. Ages 16 to 17 need a parent or guardian present to sign, plus a certified birth certificate. Under 16 requires a court order. No blood test needed. No residency requirement. The ceremony must take place in Oklahoma.

The license stays valid for 10 days. After the wedding, the officiant and two witnesses aged 18 or older sign the completed document. It goes back to the Garfield County Court Clerk within 5 days. Ministers do not pre-register credentials under Title 43, Section 7. If either person was divorced in Oklahoma within the past six months, they cannot marry anyone except their former spouse.
