Moore Marriage License Requirements

Under Oklahoma Statutes Title 43, applicants must be 18 or older with valid photo ID. Ages 16 to 17 need a parent or guardian to sign at the clerk's window plus a certified birth certificate. Under 16 takes a court order. No blood test is needed. No residency rule applies. You do not have to live in Moore. The ceremony must happen in Oklahoma.

After the ceremony, the officiant and two witnesses aged 18 or older sign the license. The signed document goes back to the Cleveland County clerk within 5 days. That creates the official Moore marriage record. The license itself stays valid for 10 days from the issue date. Miss that window and you need to start over with a new application and fee.

Ministers do not need to pre-register their credentials under Title 43, Section 7. The officiant simply signs the certificate to certify authority. The six-month divorce rule applies to anyone who got divorced in Oklahoma courts within that time frame.
