What Yukon Marriage Records Include

A Yukon marriage record at the Canadian County courthouse has three parts. The Affidavit on Application lists both names, ages, and ID details. The Marriage License is the document the clerk hands to you. After the ceremony, the Certificate of Marriage is signed by the officiant and two witnesses, then returned to the clerk within 5 days. That certificate becomes the permanent Yukon marriage record on file in Canadian County.

Most records show full names of both parties, ages, and the date of the ceremony. Older records sometimes include the bride's marital status, birthplace, or parent names. OSCN shows applicant names and the issue date but not the certificate image, witnesses, or officiant. For complete details, you need a copy from the Canadian County Court Clerk at (405) 262-1070.
